Me Sook Ko
Me Sook is the Founder and CEO of Urisawe. Originally from Seoul Korea, Me Sook has always been passionate about Korean Traditional Dance and has spent the last 25+ years bringing awareness of Korean Traditional Arts to the bay area communities and beyond. Her dream is to one day witness people of all backgrounds come together to enjoy Korean dance and music.

Over the years we have brought positive impact to the Bay Area community through educating people of all ages and background to perform Korean Dance and Music. We are a non-profit organization built by common people: Parents, Students, and Office Workers.

Korean drums are widely varied in both rhythm and form. Samulnori, Nanta, Samgomu, are just a few of the options Urisawe offers.

2022 Summer Jangu Class for Adults (Beginner) $200 per month (4 lessons)
Every Thursday, 10 am to 11am at Oakland, CA

2022 Summer Samgomu Class for Adults (Beginner) $200 per month (4 lessons)
Every Sunday, 3pm to 4pm at San Jose, CA

Korean Music & Dance (Private Lesson) $150/hour (per person)
Group lessons are also available at a discounted rate.
